How I Met You

Ted: " When I was at the top of that lighthouse, despite everything else...It was breathtaking. And I wasted it. I mean, how many places have I ruined forever by being there with the wrong girl? "



Lily: " So come back with the right girl. "




Ted: " I don't know. I'm starting to think a person gets a certain allotment of "lighthouses" per lifetime. And I've used all mine up. "



Future Ted: " And that, kids, is the kind of stupid things you say before you've met the person who hits the reset button on the world, who makes everything new again, who makes it seem ridiculous that you ever considered settling.."

一生懸命

So after the endless waiting in anxiety, I finally received the exam result today. Got an A+ for final exam; passed the entry test for intermediate level of courses too. What a pleasant surprise!

An A+ probably means nothing to most of you, but to someone who at one time ran away from classes, failed exams, hurt herself and cried over her fallen life, it is the first baby step taken to recapture her positive attitude and rebuild her confidence. I am really happy to see the change.
